Just 17 Years Old, Jeff Weighed 345 pounds, Wore 3xxl Shirts and Had a 48 Inch Waist
Jeff had always been a chunky child. Not being aware of nutrition and the damage junk food did had kept him chained to the miserable cycle of comfort eating, weight gain and misery.

I know these numbers sound  scary. Believe me, the more I track them the worse it gets!

Yet, I believe there’s hope. I have faith that, with the right information and motivation, we can turn back the tide of degenerative disease before it wipes us out.
As right now, the mainstream medical machine’s approach is failing. Big time. Instead of addressing the causes, their focus is medicating the symptoms. While this make a lot of money for big pharma and the insurance companies, it does NOTHING to help people improve their health.

You don’t have to be Einstein to know that it’s America’s addiction to fried food, sugar loaded soda and carb packed baked goods and convenience food that’s making us all fat, sick and dying prematurely.

If everything I say is true, you may be wondering why the government doesn’t step in? Why doesn’t it launch a public health crusade to improve the American diet?
Well, the inability of the government to avert public health catastrophe is laid bare when you read their dietary guidelines. Instead of promoting healthy fats, they tell you to eat processed grains, sugars, carbs and vegetable oils. This is despite mounting evidence proving too much of these foods is toxic and killing hundreds of thousands every year.
Here’s what a few food science experts have to say about government dietary guidelines:
“If they had carried out the food-based approach, they would have had to say eat less meat and cut down on sugary drinks and processed foods, but they don’t. How come? I’d guess politics.” - Marion Nestle, Professor of Nutrition, Food Studies, and Public Health at New York University
“This is a loss for the American public and a win for big beef and big soda. The problem isn’t just that the public gets misleading, censored information, but that these Guidelines get translated into national food programs, such as the menus for our kids in schools, diets for pregnant women, and programs for low-income Americans. This then gets directly translated into unnecessary premature deaths, diabetes, and suffering…of course this goes on to mean greater health care costs for all. It is all connected.” - Walter Willett, Fredrick John Stare Professor of Epidemiology and Nutrition Chair
So if the government isn’t going to provide sensible dietary advice, what about your doctor?

Sadly, they appear to be as much a victim of a system focused on profits ahead of smart food choices as you are.
While your doctor does their best and has your interests at heart, they’ve been taught to medicate rather than cure root causes. To write you a prescription and send you on your way. When what you really need is guidance on nutrition, basic human biology and eating clean. You need a “health coach”, in other words.

As Orly Avitzur, M.D., medical director at Consumer Reports, states:

"Most doctors don't want to see anyone suffer, so it is our instinct to really try to help people. At the same time, we're very busy nowadays in practices, and patients don't get the same face-to-face time that perhaps they did 10, 20 years ago. And so in a way it's easier to write a prescription than to have to go into a lengthy discussion about why I'm not going to write you a prescription."

But people don’t need prescriptions. They need advice on how to get rid of lethal, ugly belly fat!

And this is exactly what was revealed in the dusty box I mentioned at the start of this article.
A box that contained a startling conclusion that’s shaken the foundations of the mainstream science on what causes heart attacks and stained the reputations of scientists who’ve preached the “fat is bad” mantra their entire careers.

A Study Buried for Undermining Government Dogma
It’s incredible to think that a study lasting five years and involving 9,423 mental health patients was left to rot for nearly five decades in the basement of its lead scientist Dr. Ivan Frantz.

Why it was buried for so long despite it containing some of the best data ever on the link between diets and heart disease is hotly speculated.

Could it be because the study failed to prove its core aim: That animal fats were the main cause of heart disease and premature death?

When instead, it was supposed to recommend we eat processed vegetable oils instead?
In tandem with the surging consumption of carbs, grains and vegetables oils has been a surge in obesity, diabetes and heart disease.

While many institutional health experts aren’t willing to admit the change in our diets and rampant rates of chronic disease are linked, some functional doctors are brave enough to take a stand.

Over the last decade, studies challenging the “low fat” hypothesis have emerged. This includes over an analysis of 13 randomized trials of the Keto diet which found that replacing processed sugars with healthy fats can help people to lose weight, control blood glucose and reduce the risk factors for heart disease.

But getting these studies published and talked about is an uphill battle even today.

In 1973 Dr. Frantz would have faced a wall of opposition when he led the The Minnesota Coronary Experiment - the most statistically verifiable study ever done on the health risks of saturated fat.

As along with its length and size, what makes this study so compelling is that they had complete control over the participants’ meals.

They knew exactly what they ate

Half of the subjects were fed a diet rich in milk, cheese and beef. While the other half ate a diet without saturated fats supplemented with corn syrup and the vegetable oils commonly used in processed food.

And the result?

Despite it being the largest, most expensive and most clinically verifiable study of its kind, the results were not widely published. Instead they were left to rot in Dr. Frantz’s basement for over four decade
That was until Harry Ramsden started to do some digging.

To this day he has a reputation for being the Indiana Jones of disruptive health studies. He’ll eagerly go digging for studies that were buried because they challenged the status quo.

After tracking down Dr Franz’s son, Franz Junior, and telling him about his father’s involvement in a mysterious  dietary study hidden from public knowledge, Franz Junior got to work digging into his father’s files.

After much hunting around, he found a collection of boxes in his father's basement. Then after opening one of them, Franz Junior rushed to send Ramsden an email. The subject line said "Eureka!"
The box’s tapes, data discs, yellowed folders and health readings then went through a dramatic refresh.
The tapes were translated into formats today's computers can understand, and the dietary and health records of 9,423 participants analyzed.

Only then was Ramsden able to announce the study’s dramatic conclusion.

As not only had the study NOT proven that saturated fat increases the risk of heart disease - it found the REVERSE:

A diet HIGH in healthy fats reduces your risk of premature death compared to a diet high in processed grains

What’s more, the study found that eating animal fats led to less atherosclerosis and better overall health.

Commenting on the conclusion, Dr. Nortin Hadler of the University of North Carolina said, “It’s impossible to do a perfect trial. But this was as good as it got at the time and not bad today. It tested the [diet-heart] hypothesis and rejected it.”

This view was backed by Lennert Veerman of Australia’s University of Queensland who said, “The benefits of choosing polyunsaturated fat over saturated fat seem a little less certain than we thought.”

While Dr Frantz son, simply said his father was always committed to discovering the truth. He would be pleased this is finally coming out.”
The conclusion of the Minnesota Coronary Experiment adds to the growing evidence that eating a diet high in healthy fats and low in carbs and processed food can improve your all round health.

This includes a study in Clinical Cardiology of 83 obese
patients. After eating a diet high in healthy fats for 24
weeks they enjoyed:

● Significant weight loss
● Lower "bad" LDL cholesterol and higher "good" HDL increased
● Much lower levels of fatty triglycerides
● Lower blood sugar
And the number of studies that finds eating high fat means less body fat continue to mount.
For over four decades we’ve had the “fat is bad” mantra drilled into us on TV, in magazines and even by so called health experts.

When the science shows the complete opposite is true: That animal fat is healthy and helps you lose weight.

It’s the processed carbs, grains and sugars that now dominate the American diet. And cause the spread of cancer triggering inflammation in your body that’s also to blame for:

Three quarters of people being over overweight or clinically obese

1 in 3 having chronically high blood sugar

The “silent killer” of heart disease claiming 630,000 lives a year.
I can’t change government policy, or turn back the clock.

But what I CAN do is give you with the information you need to make your OWN decision on what’s best for your health.
The ugly truth is that as long as you keep eating a diet high in carbs and sugars you’ll find it almost IMPOSSIBLE to lose weight and keep it off over the long-term.
Here are three key reasons why:
1. Carbs and Sugars Make You Fat

The reason why America’s love of starchy carbs and processed food is making 3 in 4 people overweight or obese comes down to simple biology:

1. All types of sugars and starchy carbs, whether it’s bread, pasta or potato chips, get turned into glucose by the body.
2. Glucose raises your blood sugar.
3. If your blood sugar gets too high your releases insulin to force the glucose into your cells
4. This glucose forms fatty triglycerides in the form of viseral fat around your belly, thighs, hips and upper arms.

Just like your taste buds, your stomach needs time to adjust to a healthier diet.
